平遥城隍庙位居古城内东南，始建于北宋，现存庙宇为明清规制，整座建筑由城隍庙，灶君庙、财神庙三组建筑群组成。城隍居中，灶君财神各占左右，坐北面南，前后四进院，占地7302平方米，是典型的中国道教庙宇殿堂布置形式。
